In Search Of

Skateboarding consists not just of flips, tricks and grinds but also a continuous longing. The search for a never before seen ‘skate spot’ to film and or photograph. No spot will suffice and fill that continuous need to be skated. Once one spot is found, the search continues and thus repeats.

This series explores that longing between skateboarders and their exploration through the everyday act of the search. The ins-and-outs of an urban environment being explored and the familial aspect of searching together.
