Dear Diary

I remember in 3rd grade my teacher used to make the class write in are notebook daily. It didn't have to be anything specific, just what you felt like writing at the time. Taking advantage of that freedom to write I began jotting down random memories that popped up at the moment. Could be from 2 years ago, a couple months, or something that just happened. Writing down those memories made me feel as if i set them in stone; immortalizing them.

This project takes on that freedom to write and keep track of those memories i long to hold onto, but with a lack of text. Through photomontage I hope to mimic the atmosphere I felt living these scenarios. Showing the viewer my thoughts and perceptions at the time; a photographic diary.
